Chickie

I made a cute little Easter bag with a sweet new image from CC Designs called Chickie today :)

I had  the little gold bag already and I used the rectangle dies to cover it with paper.
And I used the circle die and scalloped circle die to cut the image out.
The "happy" is from the Make a Card #11 die set.  I thought it worked really well with the Easter banner she is holding.
I just folded the top of the bag over and held it closed with a little painted clothes peg.

This isn't filled with chocolatey goodies yet, I will have to wait until the last minute to do that obviously (I have no willpower when it comes to chocolate!)

Ingredients :
Stamps : Chickie
Card : x-press it, regal rose
Ink : memento black
Other : MAC #11 die, circle die, scalloped circle die, rectangle die, copics

Thanks for dropping by today :)

Chicky Henry

I have a fun Easter card for CC Designs to share with you today :)
This stamp is SO cute!  It's called Chicky Henry.
I also used a sentiment from the new Sweet Spring set and embossed it in white.

I coloured the image with my copics and cut it out and teamed it with some cute Hello Sunshine paper from Doodlebug.
This just reminds me of a heap of m&m's or maybe those tiny little wrapped eggs.  And he's walking in front of a big one that's been split in half so that you can see the chocolate inside!
Or maybe I just can't wait for Easter and I'm having chocolate hallucinations?!

Ingredients :
Stamps : Chicky Henry, Sweet Spring
Card : x-press it, suede, hello sunshine (Doodlebug)
Ink : memento black, versamark
Other : circle die, scalloped circle die, autumn dots, white ep, copic

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges :

7 Kids College Fund - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Things with wings

Easter Funnies

I have a cute card for Easter to share with you :)
All the stamps used on this card are from a cute new CC Designs set called Easter Funnies.
This Easter Bunny is SO adorable!

I used the single egg stamps from this set to create a background using the same colour ink as the card.  And I created the panel by smooshing distress inks and water onto watercolour paper.
I like how this turned out. I also stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto it and I did some sewing and added some enamel dots.
I coloured the bunny with copics and coloured the egg in similar colours to the background so that it might look like he made a bit of a mess while painting it :)

Ingredients :
Stamps : Easter Funnies
Card : x-press it, crumb cake, black, waterercolour
Ink : memento black, versafine, crumb cake, distress inks (worn lipstick, dusty concord, broken china)
Other : Snowy Day dots, Merry Christmas dots, copics

I'd like to enter my cards into the following challenges:

Send a smile 4 kids - Easter or Spring
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Clean and simple
The ABC Challenge - B is for Bunny
The Ribbon Girl - Anything Goes

Thanks for dropping by today :)

Mystical Challenge

I have some exciting news to share ! :)
I am now on the Design Team at Mystical Scrapbooks!!!

I used to scrapbook many years ago but then my love of cardmaking took over.
My youngest daughter doesn't even have an album and is always asking where her photos are and why she doesn't have a book too :(
I have really wanted to get back into scrapping for her AND for me.
So I made a New Years Resolution that I was going to DO IT!
And I HAVE :)
Being on the fabulous team at Mystical Scrapbooks is really going to help me achieve my goals.

So this is my first page after taking a very long scrapbooking break :)

It was my turn to create a challenge for the Mystical Scrapbooks blog and I decided to make it about journalling.
The challenge is to make a kind of journalling border around your photos.
It can be any kind of journalling.  I decided to just write the Who and Where and then I looked in a Thesaurus for synonyms for Explore, which is my title.

I hope you'll make a page and join in with our challenge too.

I used Core'dinations Essentials cardstock and tore a strip of it to resemble (loosely :) ) rocks. I also distressed the matt around the photos.  Then I used another matt that I did the journalling around.

The gorgeous paper is Basic Grey - Olivia and I also used some Kaisercraft Pearls - Snow.
I made the title using Thickers - Hello Amy.  I love this alphabet!  The fabric adds a lot of texture and I love the stitched look and the font is so fun!

So I've made a start! I hope you'll join me on my journey and we can experiment and learn together :)

I used the Circle Die and new Scalloped Circle Die.  The scallops and stitching on this are petite and sweet.  And to make the white scallops I used the Scallop Square Die and just cut edges off to use as a scallop border.
I added dots of star dust stickles to her wings and the white scallops too :)

Your next stop on the hop is Laura!! Going forward, we will have a New Release Blog Hop with every release to showcase our talented Design Team! If you get lost along the way, this is our hopping list.
