Koala Bear Hugs

I have a card to share with you for Bunny Zoe's Crafts today.  I have used a very cute CandiBean stamp called Koala Bear Hugs.  Aren't those koalas cute and it's so nice to have a stamp with some Australian animals :)

I love all of Jennifer's new designs but I decided to use this gorgeous stamp called Lilac and Butterfly.

Instead of colouring the entire stamp, I decided to make the butterfly the centre of attention.
I stamped the image with Brilliance Pearlescent Purple onto vanilla cardstock.  And then stamped it again using memento black onto x-press it copic card, coloured it in with my copics and cut it out.  I did this step twice.  There is a separate top and bottom wing to give the butterfly more dimension.  I used a glue dot in between the wings to lift the outer top wing.  I also used a black marker to draw on the butterfly's legs and antennae.

Ingredients :

Stamps : Lilac and butterfly, Happy Harvest
Card : vanilla, river rock, plum, x-press it
Ink : memento black, Brilliance pearlescent purple, antique linen distress ink
Other : black pearls, vanilla seam binding, corner die (whimsy), copics

Copics used :

B 0000, 00, 02, 04
BV 0000, 00, 02,

If you get lost along the hop, here is the order . . .
Comment on each blog, because 2 of them hold the prize. What is the prize???  Two lucky winners will win 2 stamps from the hop. The winner will be announced on Sunday January 3st at 8:00 pm est

Charmings

It's time for another challenge over at the Bunny Zoe's Crafts Blog.
This month we are challenging you to use a heart somewhere on your card.
That's pretty easy right?  We hope you'll play along with us :)

I decided to make a card using a beautiful Saturated Canary stamp called Charmings.
I loved colouring her :)

I created the little tag by stamping Magnolia - Sparkle Hearts in the background and then over-stamping the Whimsy - Girl Talk sentiment and using a copic marker to colour the words and heart in a little.

The paper is gorgeous and is from the Glitz - Love You Madly pad.  I also used Kaisercraft - natural lace, an Ornate Heart Lock Charm and Pearls.

Ingredients :

Stamps : Saturated Canary - CharmingsWhimsy - Girl TalkMagnolia - Sparkle Hearts

Freckles

Hi :)  I wanted to show you a card I made for CC Designs using one of the super-duper cute new images from Pollycraft.  This one is called Freckles and she's absolutely adorable!

cc designs, pollycraft, freckles, make a card #2 die

I also used the new CC Designs Cutters Make a Card #2 Die for the oval, scalloped oval, tag and heart.  I cut the little heart out of felt and the die cut it out perfectly :)

The sentiment is from a new set too called Valentine Sentiments - I love this set!  There are so many great sayings in it and it's such a cute font :)  This one actually says "LOVE is all you need" but as the girl was holding the word "LOVE"  I decided to mask off that part of the sentiment and just use the rest (it also fit on the cute tag that way) :)

Ingredients :

Stamps : Freckles, Valentine Sentiments
Card : x-press it, celery, olive, Cambridge Court (MME)
Ink : memento black, pool party, celery
Other : Make a card #2 die, grassy edges die (MFT), felt, copics

She was lots of fun to colour with my copics :)
Copics used :

Rose

I've made another card with some lovely goodies from the CC Designs January release.
This one is called Rose, isn't she so adorable!?

Ink : memento black
Other : Rose die, subtle dots, copics

Looking Back

I decided to spend some time this afternoon reminiscing about my stamping year in 2014.
It was lovely to look back at what I've done.
I feel so very thankful to have been on a few Design Teams this year, it has been an honour and privilege to work with Whimsy Stamps, CC Designs and Bunny Zoe's Crafts :)
Looking back reminded me how lucky I am! :)

As always it was very hard to pick my favourite card for each month!  I have been very strict with myself this year though and have only allowed myself to double up once :)

January

Last January must have been a great month creatively.  I hope the same thing happens this January too :)  I just had to choose both these cards as I think they're two of my favourites ever.
The first one was actually a card for Bunny Zoe's Crafts but it uses a CC Designs Stamp and I love it!  The second one features a beautiful Sylvia Zet design for Whimsy Stamps and I love it too.  They're both gorgeous girls!

February

A card I made for Bunny Zoe's Crafts using a very cute Wild Rose Studio stamp.  I love cute animals on cards and this one is super-cute!

March

I made this one for my eldest daughter because she just LOVES pigs!  She loved the card too :)

April

I started on the Design Team at CC Designs.  I just love their cute images!!!

May

I just love this gorgeous stamp by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps.  That elephant is so cute!!!

June

Another card for CC Designs.  I love getting a chance to be a bit punny :)

July

This girl by Time 4 Tea designs is just so sweet.  And I love the colour combo and design of this card. The design was from a sketch challenge and they're great fun to enter.

August

This one is kind of amazing in that it is not for a Design Team at all!  That doesn't happen very often any more.  I wanted a card for an Engagement Party and I just didn't have a stamp that seemed right.  So I looked around and found this digi by Mo Manning and had to buy it.  It is gorgeous and I loved colouring it too!

September

This Wild Rose Studio reindeer is just so cute!

October

This one isn't actually a card but a shadow box frame I made for my Granddaughter.
I love this stamp!!!

November

A cute penguin card for Christmas.  I definitely didn't make as many Christmas cards this year.  That should be one of my New Years Resolutions, to make more (and actually send them out too!)

December

I love how this one turned out.  Such a cute image and I love the papers as well.

Thanks to all my readers who've left me encouraging comments during the year.  I really appreciate it :)

Here's to a bright and wonderful 2015 !
